Return and refund policy

Unopened kits: 30 days. If you have not opened or registered your collection kit, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Email info@checkgenetics.com with your order number and we will send return instructions.

Once a kit is opened or registered, it cannot be returned. This is standard for genetic testing: the kit is a single-use medical collection device, and once it has been opened or linked to your account we cannot resell or re-issue it. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Once your sample is at the laboratory. After we receive your sample, laboratory processing begins and the order can no longer be refunded.

If something goes wrong. If your kit arrives damaged, is missing components, or your sample fails to produce a result for a reason within our control, we will replace it at no cost to you. Contact us within 30 days of the issue.

Cancelling before dispatch. If your kit has not yet shipped, email us and we will cancel and refund in full.

Portal renewal. Your first year of results portal access is included in the purchase price. Renewal is $30 per year and can be cancelled at any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future charges; your existing reports remain downloadable.

How refunds are issued. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.
